Job summary

LHH is seeking an Associate in its Corporate practice group, based in Minneapolis, MN. The role offers sophisticated transactional work, mentorship, and long-term growth, with a flexible hybrid schedule that allows two remote days per week.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of M&A or general corporate experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and bar admission. The position entails leading due diligence, drafting agreements, and coordinating with senior attorneys on complex deals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of M&A/corporate experience; Am Law background preferred.
• Excellent writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. state; JD from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage due diligence teams and organize workflow.
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents with senior attorneys.
• Collaborate with specialists on complex deals and advise on governance and contracts.
• Support corporate governance and related commercial matters.

This position is part of a nationally recognized corporate team advising public and private companies, financial institutions, and private equity clients on sophisticated transactions. The team promotes flexibility while maintaining a strong emphasis on teamwork and client service. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of M&A and/or general corporate experience looking to take on meaningful responsibility.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• 2+ years of M&A/corporate experience (Am Law background preferred)
• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
• Licensed with a U.S. state Bar

What They Offer

• Anticipated salary range: $180K–$315K, depending on experience and office location
• Flexible hybrid schedule: two remote days per week
• Billable credit for pro bono work (up to 100 hours of annually)
