Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) in New York is seeking an Associate for the Corporate Advisory Group (CAG) to support owner-managers and family-owned businesses in mergers and acquisitions, financings, and strategic decisions.

You will perform company/industry research, build financial models, prepare client presentations, and interact with business executives and intermediaries in a collaborative Capital Partners environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in financial services or a related field.
• Strong interest in businesses, financial markets, and corporate strategy.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and clear written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company and industry research.
• Build financial models and perform valuation analyses (including DCF, comps, precedent transactions, LBOs).
• Develop client presentations assessing business, growth prospects, valuation perspectives, and strategic alternatives.
• Interface with business owners, company executives and intermediaries.
• Support business development by tracking relationships with intermediaries and preparing weekly reports.
