Job summary

Burns Scalo Real Estate Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead our corporate accounting functions across regional offices. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, and establishing scalable processes.

You will partner with the Controller, oversee brokerage, property management and construction accounting, lead a small team, and drive improvements in efficiency and standardization to support growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory accounting role.
• Multi-entity and multi-location accounting experience preferred.
• Real estate, property management, brokerage, or professional services industry experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accounting activities across all regional offices.
• Ensure consistency in accounting policies, procedures and reporting practices across the organization.
• Serve as a key accounting resource and business partner to regional leadership teams.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and reporting accuracy.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions including brokerage accounting and oversight of property management and construction accounting.
