Job summary

NAI Burns Scalo seeks a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead the company’s corporate accounting across regional offices, ensuring accurate reporting and consistent policy application.

You will manage brokerage, property management, and construction accounting activities, drive month-end and year-end closes, and partner with payroll on broker commissions. Strong GAAP, Excel, and real estate experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership or supervisory accounting role.
• Multi-entity and multi-location accounting experience preferred.
• Real estate, property management, brokerage, or professional services industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with acquisitions and integration activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accounting activities across all regional offices.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions including brokerage accounting and property management/ construction accounting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes with timely reporting.
• Manage cash flow for operating companies ensuring designated cash balances are intact.
• Lead segment accounting and departmental financial reporting activities.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure broker commissions are processed accurately.
• Drive process improvements through automation and standardization.
