Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists is seeking an Accounting Manager for our commercial real estate portfolio. The role oversees day-to-day GAAP reporting, multi-entity accounting, and coordination with external CPA firms and lenders.

The ideal candidate will lead the close process, manage property and investor accounting, and drive process improvements across intercompany activity, consolidations, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience with close and financial reporting.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-investor structures.
• Hands-on expertise with Yardi.
• Ability to coordinate with outside CPA firm, auditors, and lenders.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close, consolidations, and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting, intercompany activity, and eliminations.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash controls.
• Coordinate with outside CPA firm, auditors, and legal counsel.
