Job summary

Collaborative Real Estate (CRE) is seeking a senior accounting leader to assess and optimize our corporate accounting function and build scalable processes. If you move quickly, ask the right questions, and act decisively, we want to meet you.

The Assistant Director of Corporate Accounting owns the full corporate accounting cycle for CRE and reports directly to the Director of Accounting, with at least one direct report.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with multi-entity exposure
• Experience with payroll administration
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to draw independent conclusions
• Construction/project accounting exposure a plus
• Commercial real estate accounting background helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Manage full corporate accounting cycle across affiliated entities
• End-to-end payroll processing in Paylocity for ~60 employees
• Lead corporate budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Coordinate project accounting for tenant and capital improvement work
• Drive systems and process improvements across multiple business segments
• Billing for leased membership and event space
