Our client, a growing manufacturer with multiple facilities across the US, is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join its corporate finance team in Des Plaines, IL. • Mentor and lead an Accounting Team; 2 direct reports; 1 indirect
• Lead the monthly close process while ensuring timely and accurate GAAP-compliant reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial analysis supporting productivity, profitability, and business decisions
• Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and cost analysis across multiple manufacturing locations
• Track, audit, and report capital expenditures
• Develop and improve accounting controls, policies, and financial processes
• Serve as the primary liaison for annual external audits
• Support ERP implementation and financial systems optimization initiatives
• Provide financial support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and special projects
