An international manufacturer is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team due to an internal promotion. This position offers a unique blend of month-end close responsibilities, cross-functional project work, intercompany accounting, audit support, and exposure to multiple finance disciplines including FP&A, tax, treasury, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
- Support the monthly close process and prepare journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet analyses
- Manage intercompany accounting activities, reconciliations, settlements, and related reporting
- Maintain lease accounting schedules and related accounting records
- Assist with financial reporting schedules and audit support
- Review contracts and support accounting treatment assessments
- Support payroll-related accounting activities and employee expense programs
- Assist with treasury-related accounting and cash activity processing
- Support indirect tax compliance and related reconciliations
- Partner with business units and shared service teams to resolve accounting issues
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and internal controls enhancements
- Participate in special projects across the finance organization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
- Experience preparing account reconciliations and journal entries
- Ability to thrive in a changing, evolving environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Desire to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a global organization
- SAP experience
- Public accounting experience
- Exposure to intercompany accounting, audits, or financial reporting
