Job summary

AgCountry Farm Credit Services offers a Corporate Accounting Internship to gain hands-on experience in core general ledger activities and GAAP alignment. You’ll help with monthly closes and journal entries while learning FCA regulations and IRS requirements.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Accounting/Finance, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and are available for a 12-week summer internship. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Banking, Finance or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Available for a 12-week internship during the summer.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entry processing and validations.
• Support accounting teammates to maintain sub-ledgers and amortization schedules (fixed assets, leases, prepaid).
• Perform payroll and benefits accounting through data analysis to ensure accuracy of entries.
