This role is a temporary internship assignment during the Summer of 2027 in departments where there are business needs within Finance at Duke Energy. Tasks may include preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis. Intern will gain exposure to various financial systems and use of Microsoft Excel.
Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the duration of the summer.
Hybrid mobility classification - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the designated Duke Energy facility. Reliable, consistent transportation is required to ensure timely arrival at the applicable facility. In office 3 days per week. Housing stipend available when applicable.
