Northrop Grumman is seeking a qualified accounting professional in Falls Church, VA to perform reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly/quarterly close activities. The role supports statutory reporting, internal analytics, and audit readiness in a dynamic defense contractor environment.

The successful candidate will combine a solid accounting foundation with experience in SAP and Hyperion Financial Management, and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 4 years relevant experience.
• Master's or CPA may substitute for years of experience.
• Public accounting experience may count toward additional years.

Responsabilités

• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting for routine and non-routine transactions.
• Assist with financial statement analytics and management reports.
• Coordinate with sectors and corporate departments on routine transactions.
• Interact with foreign and shared service accounting staff.
• Prepare quarterly and year-end reporting packages.
• Assist with monthly load and consolidation into Hyperion FM.
• Assist with SOX, DCAA, and IRS audits.
• Maintain documentation to support statement of work.
