Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corporation is seeking a Corporate Financial Analyst to report to the Manager of Corporate Accounting. This role performs reconciliations, journal entries, analytics, and prepares financial reporting packages across corporate entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Master’s degree or CPA may be traded for 2 years of experience; CPA plus Master’s may be traded for 3 years of experience.
• Public accounting experience may count for up to an additional year of experience for each year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with resolution of reconciling items.
• Prepare journal entries and related support for routine and non-routine transactions that are material and complex in nature.
• Assist with preparation of financial statement analytics and other management reports.
• Work with sectors and other Corporate departments (e.g., government accounting, tax, treasury) on routine transactions.
• Interact with foreign and shared service accounting staff to ensure appropriate accounting processes are in place.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial reporting packages for corporate entities.
• Assist with monthly load and consolidation of corporate domestic entities into Hyperion Financial Management.
• Assist with SOX, DCAA and IRS audits.
• Maintain documentation to support statement of work.
