Position Overview

The successful candidate will support accounting activities, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and special projects within a collaborative corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial documentation.
• Assist with technical accounting matters and related reporting requirements.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statement information and reporting packages.
• Assist with corporate consolidation activities and related financial analysis.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance leadership on reporting initiatives and process improvements.
• Research accounting matters and assist in maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Support special projects and ad hoc financial reporting requests.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation to support accounting and reporting activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of two years of accounting experience, preferably within public accounting or a corporate accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting-related applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation, CPA eligibility, or actively working toward CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience.
• Exposure to corporate consolidations and external financial reporting.
• Experience researching technical accounting matters.
• Familiarity with financial statement disclosures and reporting requirements.
• MBA or advanced accounting education.
