Job summary

Brickworks North America is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support the Accounting Supervisor with transactional activities, GL maintenance, and regulatory reporting across the corporate finance function. The role interfaces with Treasury, Controlling, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and helps develop internal controls to safeguard assets.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/BA in Accounting or Finance with 1–3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and exposure to ERP systems such as

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in journal entry preparation
• Excellent communication skills and desire to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist with periodic and annual close processes, including accruals and adjusting entries
• Develop and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare daily cash entries and weekly travel and purchase card activity
• Generate month-end analytical reports for management review
• Assist with monthly sales tax filings
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulatory reporting
• Manage corporate credit card program including policy compliance
• Reconcile fixed assets and lease accounting
• Provide ad-hoc support to Finance Department
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Assist with special projects as necessary
