Green Brick Partners, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant who will prepare timely accounting records, participate in month-end close, and help produce financial statements.

The role supports not-for-profit GAAP reporting and requires attention to accuracy and adherence to internal controls. Responsibilities include monthly reconciliations, journal entries, reviewing accounts payable/receivable, and assisting with audits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Property management or CID experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monthly review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP for not-for-profit organizations.
• Prepare monthly production and financial reports (Balance Sheets and Income Statements).
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead on cash transactions including wires, ACHs, and reserve fund transfers.
• Participate in the monthly close process and prepare supporting schedules.
