Job summary

Glen-Gery Corporation, the North American arm of Brickworks, seeks a Corporate Accountant in Wyomissing, PA to assist with close processes, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting. This role interfaces with Treasury, Controlling, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, helping safeguard assets and support audits.

The position requires a BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Oracle or JD Edwards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience with large ERP systems (Oracle; JD Edwards a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist with period and annual close processes and standard accruals.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Manage daily cash entries and card activity.
• Support monthly sales tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with Audit requests and internal controls development.
