Kforce, Inc. is partnering with a large privately held company to recruit a Corporate Accountant for its finance team in Grand Rapids. This newly created role offers exposure to consolidations, financial reporting, lease accounting, and other core corporate accounting functions with strong growth potential.

The successful candidate will have 2–3+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and experience with ERP systems. Hybrid work environment and collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3+ years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience in a larger organization preferred.
• Exposure to ERP systems and strong technical aptitude.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to learn, develop, and grow within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support consolidation of operating results across multiple business units.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and reporting.
• Support lease accounting activities.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Drive process improvements and accounting efficiencies.
