Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Corporate Accountant for a reputable organization in the Triad area of North Carolina. The role focuses on general ledger accounting, month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis while supporting audits.

You will work with a collaborative team to strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements. Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and allocations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review financial data, investigate variances, and provide account analysis.
• Prepare recurring schedules, rollforwards, and audit-ready workpapers.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Support prepaid expense accounting and recurring revenue-related processes.
• Compile financial information for management reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced internal controls.
