Job summary

ProspectBlue is partnering with a growing restoration and project-based services company to hire a Corporate Accountant. This hands-on role supports the month-end close, financial reporting, WIP accounting, cash flow forecasting, and tax compliance, delivering insightful financial analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Staff or Senior Accountant experience preferred.
• Construction, restoration, or project-based services experience is a plus.
• WIP or percentage‑of‑completion accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve accounting problems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze WIP schedules.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare flash reports, KPI scorecards, and financial analysis.
• Assist with weekly/monthly and 13‑week cash flow forecasting.
• Handle multi-state Sales & Use Tax and Personal Property Tax filings.
• Support audit preparation and GAAP research.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Assist with acquisitions, ERP data migration, and other special projects.
• Partner closely with the Controller and CFO on accounting and process improvements.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Staff or Senior Accountant who enjoys being hands‑on, digging into the numbers, and working closely with a Controller.
