Job summary

Confidential Search in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Corporate Accountant for a hybrid role. You will own general ledger accuracy, make journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close while partnering with finance leadership on reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and variance analysis.

You will coordinate with external auditors on tax and regulatory filings and help improve internal controls as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or progress toward one is a plus.

Our client is a well established global entertainment and interactive technology company with a growing, high visibility product portfolio. This is a confidential search conducted on behalf of the employer.

This is a hybrid role based in Fort Lauderdale with flexibility for partial remote work. The Corporate Accountant will own general ledger accuracy, journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month end and year end close. You'll work closely with the finance leadership team on financial reporting, cash flow tracking, budgeting support, and variance analysis, and coordinate directly with external auditors on tax and regulatory filings.

What you bring

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and strong Excel skills
• Working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit/tax compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or progress toward one is a plus
• Comfortable working across a hybrid team of onsite and remote colleagues
