• Balance and manage general ledgers, prepare tax packages, and interpret accounts and financial records for management review.
• Prepare special financial reports and packages for the Controller and senior leadership, delivering timely and actionable data.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and generate related entity reports to support financial oversight.
• Review and manage accounting for select employee payroll records and related information.
• Prepare and facilitate select cash management activities, monitoring cash positions and related transactions.
• Monitor and coordinate activities of select outside vendors, ensuring proper accounting treatment for related transactions.
• Provide work leadership, guidance, and training to lower-level accounting staff.
• Lead and execute special accounting projects as directed by the Controller.

A well-established property management organization is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to support the Controller in ensuring the accurate and timely processing and reporting of financial activities across all corporate entities. In this role, the selected candidate will manage general ledgers, prepare financial reports and tax packages, oversee select cash management and payroll functions, and provide functional leadership to junior accounting staff. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated professional accounting experience, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to lead special projects in a dynamic, high-volume corporate environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $80,000 to $95,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional accounting work across all corporate entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Balance and manage general ledgers, prepare tax packages, and interpret accounts and financial records for management review.
• Prepare special financial reports and packages for the Controller and senior leadership, delivering timely and actionable data.

• Demonstrated professional accounting experience, including general ledger management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting a Controller or senior finance leadership in a corporate accounting environment.
• Proficiency in preparing financial packages, tax packages, and special reports for senior management.
• Experience reviewing payroll records and facilitating cash management activities.
• Ability to manage multiple corporate entities simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong ability to interpret financial accounts and records and communicate findings clearly to management.
• Basic leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance, direction, and training to junior accounting staff.
• Capacity to lead and execute special projects as assigned.
• Availability to work a schedule spanning Monday through Sunday as operationally required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry files, documents, or office materials up to 15 pounds.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment, including keyboards and calculators.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
