Qualifications

• High school diploma plus patrol or investigative experience in a public agency.
• Two years of law enforcement experience required.
• Class I certification per SC CJ Academy statute 23-23-40 required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise officers to surveil grounds and perform searches.
• Investigate reports of abuse, misconduct, property losses, and disturbances; interview witnesses.
• Transport patients to clinics or hearings and assist treatment personnel when needed.
• Maintain order, enforce hospital rules and state laws, and conduct routine searches.
• Keep records, logs and incident reports; work on-call and overtime as needed.
