Lennar is seeking a Manager, Strategic Initiatives to lead the development and execution of the People Ops strategy and HR strategic projects. The role sits in the HR Enablement organization, supporting ~100-person People Ops and collaborating across HRBPs, talent acquisition, payroll, and compliance.

The role reports to the Director, HR Enablement and acts as the engine room for synthesizing data into executive-ready narratives, with confidentiality and strong judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, communications, business or related fields; MBA differentiator.
• 3–4+ years in management consulting, strategic planning, or project management in large corporations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven recommendations.
• Effective communicator translating data into insights for senior stakeholders.
• Storytelling skills to craft structured narratives from disparate data points.
• Solid project management basics; can kick off and track cross-functional projects.

The Manager, Strategic Initiatives leads and supports the development and execution of ongoing work related to Lennar's People Ops strategy & execution, HR strategic projects and other cross-functional strategic initiatives. This role will also support the linking of People Ops strategy to ongoing execution (setting and tracking quarterly OKRs/goals/metrics, supporting the facilitation of the rhythm of business).

This role sits within the HR Enablement organization, which designs and drives the ways of working/rhythm of business for the People Ops organization, a ~100-person organization within the broader HR organization, inclusive of HRBPs, talent acquisition, operations, compliance, investigations, leadership programs, early career programs, and payroll.

The Manager, Strategic Initiatives reports to the Director, HR Enablement, and serves as the engine room of the People Ops organization – quickly synthesizing data and context into compelling narratives and executive-friendly presentations/communications, with discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

• Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders across HR to align priorities and drive momentum on strategic initiatives and project
• Partner to serve as a trusted advisor and central point of coordination for complex, multi-team initiatives, maintaining sound judgement and diplomacy
• Use both contextual/relational data and measurable data (people metrics, budget $ figures, goal progress) to quickly craft clear & concise exec-facing presentations
• Facilitate or co-facilitate senior-level meetings and working sessions (i.e. quarterly leadership team summits, bi-weekly alignment calls, etc.) with a focus on achieving actionable outcomes and decisions
• Partner to continuously improve ways of working for the People Ops Leadership Team (comprised of ~12 senior leaders) with measurable and observable growth
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project/initiative plans and documentation, including roadmaps, project plans, budget tracking, and risk assessments, where applicable
• Champion change management principles, helping organizations navigate transitions associated with a culture of continuous change & transformation
• Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the People Ops and broader HR organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Communications, Business Administration, Economics, Humanities, or related fields (relevant work experience is more relevant than major). MBA is not required, though a differentiator.
• 3–4+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning, and/or project management in large corporations (or other analogous experience with equivalent structured thinking, data analysis, and communication/storytelling)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience building frameworks, models, and strategic recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data
• Effective communicator who can translate data into clear insights for senior stakeholders
• Storyteller who can craft structured narratives combining sometimes disparate datapoints and themes into compelling stories to spur action at the right moments
• Solid project management basics (no certification required); can kick-off a cross-functional project, set up a project plan in excel or Asana, facilitate regular checkpoints, and follow-up with project stakeholders on outstanding tasks
• Curiosity, growth mindset, and willingness to learn and experiment at speed
• Facilitation/training/teaching skills are not required, though a differentiator
• HR/industry experience is not required, though a differentiator
