The University of South Florida Health Eye Institute in Tampa, FL seeks a 0.5 cFTE Ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea for an open rank appointment. The role includes outpatient care, resident and fellow supervision during rotations, and Tampa General Hospital call coverage.

Candidates must have an MD, completed ophthalmology residency, be eligible for USF faculty appointment, obtain Florida medical license, and secure USF credentialing.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency training program.
• Must meet university criteria for faculty appointment to the rank of assistant professor, associate or professor.

Responsibilities

• Provides outpatient retinal care to patients at the USF Health Eye Institute.
• Provides TGH call coverage.
• Supervise residents and fellows during rotations.
