Job summary

The Department of Ophthalmology at the Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida, seeks a 0.5 cFTE (open rank) clinician to join our Cornea/Comprehensive Ophthalmology team. The role includes outpatient care at USF Health Eye Institute, supervision of residents and fellows, and call coverage for Tampa General Hospital.

Candidates must have an MD/DO with an accredited ophthalmology residency and be eligible for Florida licensure; board certification/eligibility in

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency program.
• Unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Cornea/Comprehensive Ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient ophthalmology care as part of the Cornea/Comprehensive team.
• Supervise residents and fellows during rotations.
• Provide call coverage to Tampa General Hospital.
• Complete credentialing with USF Health.
