Job summary

Confidential Biotech Company is seeking a skilled Grain Purchaser to procure corn and other feedstocks essential for ethanol production. The ideal candidate will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and analyze market trends to ensure a cost-effective supply chain.

Responsibilities include overseeing grain inventory, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This position combines office work and field visits, requiring strong negotiation skills and knowledge of grain markets.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in grain merchandising, procurement, or commodity trading.
• Knowledge of grain markets, futures, and basis trading.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure corn and other feedstocks required for ethanol production.
• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers and suppliers.
• Negotiate purchase contracts and monitor grain markets.
