Role Overview

Raytheon’s Saudi Program Management Office is looking for an experienced CORE Process Sustainment Specialist. In this role you will lead and drive process improvement initiatives across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Program sustainment portfolio, with a focus on improving readiness and long‑term sustainment effectiveness for the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF). You will partner with cross‑functional teams—including Supply Chain, Mission Integration, Repair & Return, Logistics, Engineering, EXIM, Quality, and other key stakeholders—to support all sustainment activities within the KSA program. Given the international customer base and globally distributed team, this role requires strong cultural awareness and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple time zones and geographic regions. This hybrid role with at least 3 days a week in Andover, MA. Relocation assistance is not available. Limited travel will be needed internationally.

What You Will Do

Responsible for establishing improvement cadences, setting priorities for CORE events, tracking implementation progress, and escalating systemic issues that impact sustainment performance. Enable greater operational efficiency across the sustainment enterprise, driving standardization, and embedding continuous improvement behaviors within the broader KSA Program team. Concentrate on analyzing, improving, and standardizing sustainment processes utilizing CORE methodologies and data‑driven analytics to identify inefficiencies, reduce cycle times, increase reliability, and strengthen overall sustainment performance. Ensure process alignment, identifying workflow bottlenecks, and developing corrective and preventive actions that directly enhance customer support outcomes. Ensure that sustainment documentation—including status reporting, metrics packages, and performance analyses is accurate, complete, and aligned with expectations of the Saudi Arabian Representative (SAR) and the Saudi Program Management Office (PMO). Use analytics to identify trends in spare‑part demand, repair cycle variances, inventory health, and warranty behavior to support data‑driven decisions that directly benefit RSADF readiness. Work closely with CONUS and OCONUS teams to ensure process improvements are adopted consistently and that high‑priority sustainment needs are rapidly identified and addressed.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typical requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6+ years’ experience.
  • Proven experience driving continuous improvement using CORE Operating Systems, Lean, or similar methodologies.
  • CORE Champion certification obtained in a year.
  • Background in standardizing processes, reducing cycle times, and improving reliability across sustainment operations.
  • Ability to analyze sustainment processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Strong data analytics skills for interpreting demand trends, repair cycles, inventory health, and warranty behaviors.
  • Experience preparing accurate sustainment reports, metrics, and performance summaries for leadership and customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with CONUS and OCONUS teams, ensuring consistent adoption of improvements and rapid response to priority issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional and international partners.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Background in defense sustainment, logistics, or readiness support.
  • Knowledge of business, industry, or operating models.
  • Experience applying continuous improvement principles across areas such as Program Management, Project Management, Subcontracts, Contracts, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Supplier Management.
  • Familiarity with Estimate at Complete (EAC) processes and formulation.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and RLPM processes.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
  • Understanding of risk and opportunity management practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to proactively identify issues and develop data‑driven solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
