Job summary

Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. This role focuses on phlebotomy duties, specimen collection and processing in diverse patient areas.

The position requires applicants to be at least 18 years old with high school graduation or equivalent; preferred candidates have phlebotomy training. You will perform pre-analytic processing, label specimens, and support safe, accurate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and/or high school graduation or the equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens; collects specimens; accessions, labels and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas
• Instructs patients in the collection of urine samples and tolerance test in all patient areas.
