Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus l Kettering l Full-time l Evenings. This role performs pre-analytic processing and collects specimens, labeling and distributing samples across patient areas.

Responsibilities include venipuncture and capillary puncture, instructing patients on urine collection and tolerance testing, and other duties as assigned. Requires 18+ years old and a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy program graduation preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and/or high school graduation or the equivalent.
• Phlebotomy program graduation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens; collects specimens; accessions, labels and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas.
• Instructs patients in the collection of urine samples and tolerance test in all patient areas.
• Other duties assigned.
