Experis is seeking a Core Java Developer (DE) for a contract position in Newark, DE. You will develop and maintain core Java applications that support high-volume transaction processing and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features.

The role requires strong experience in Core Java, design patterns, UML, and various app servers with Spring, REST and SOAP Web services. You will participate in release management, testing, and API integration, ensuring robust, scalable

• Proven experience with Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, UML, and system architecture.
• Experience with J2EE, App Servers (Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat), and Spring frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP Web services, XML processing, and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control, continuous integration tools, and database systems.
