Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., the exclusive Cat dealer of western and central Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, seeks a Core Inspector to join our parts team. The role includes sorting and inspecting cores, communicating with the Core Processor, processing returns with detailed notes and updating NAXT records.

Core duties also involve weighing cases for shipping, operating a forklift to load returns, and meeting a 50 lbs weightlifting requirement.

Qualifications

• Technical school, military school or an equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable to the company.

Responsibilities

• Sort cores by store, work orders, and counter sales
• Open and inspect cores according to Caterpillar's core acceptance criteria
• Be able to communicate effectively with the Core Processor
• Process core returns with detail information if needed
• Assign case numbers to the cores and update NAXT creating the worn core documents
• Weigh the cases and record for shipping
• Be able to operate a forklift and load the core return truck safely and efficiently
• Weightlifting requirement of 50lbs
