Design performant and manufacturable reactor cores balancing neutronic, thermal hydraulic, material, mechanical, and economic considerations
Execute multiphysics simulations to assess core performance
Write clear and thorough design documentation and technical reports
Perform analyses to validate and verify core requirements
Work closely with fabrication engineers to mature designs
Travel to headquarters in Santa Clara, CA twice per calendar quarter for team meetings, company offsites, or other business gatherings
Translate top-level stakeholder requirements into well-written system functional requirements
Model core performance over time through multiphysics simulations and first-principles approaches
Collaborate cross-functionally to define performance requirements and provide technical feedback to methods development teams
Demonstrates expertise in reactor core design, including neutronic, thermal hydraulic, and material analyses, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate stakeholder requirements into functional specifications. Proficient in multiphysics simulations and technical documentation to validate core performance and requirements.
