Summary: As a key member behind the scenes of a rapidly growing organization, the Core Data Coordinator maintains the creation and flow of items and vendors as they progress through their lifecycle across our Specialty branches.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Additional duties may be assigned.

• Core Data Responsibilities - Items
• Execute data entry and maintenance of core data within Chefs’ systems.
• Manage Item Platform, adhering to timing expectations.
• Data quality review and upkeep.
• Core Data Responsibilities – Suppliers
• Execute data entry and maintenance of core data within Chefs’ systems.
• Data quality review and upkeep. Ad hoc Reports and Projects
• Execute assigned reports and projects including but not limited to:
• Integration Support
• E-Commerce Data requests
• Supply Chain IT/tool Testing

Cross-Functional Collaboration with:

• Category Management: Collaborate to execute requests.
• Operations : Coordinate to ensure operational data sets are maintained.
• Sales : Coordinate to execute data requests
• Logistics : Coordinate to ensure logistics requirements are upkept.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college or university
• 1 - 4 Years Supply Chain, Finance or Data Entry Experience
• Previous food service distribution and/or food importing experience preferred
• Competencies and/or Attributes:
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Highly comfortable with technology; JD Edwards experience a plus
• Self-starter, professional, goal oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Must have a sense of urgency and be able to excel
• Flexible with the ability to work well with all departments.
