Job summary

First National Bank of Scotia is seeking a Core Banking Systems Administrator to manage the FIS Horizon XE platform and related tools. Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT/IS/Business/Finance or equivalent.
• 3+ years supporting banking systems or related tech environments.
• Experience with core banking platforms, especially Horizon XE.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator for the FIS Horizon XE core banking platform.
• Configure, maintain, and support system parameters, products, rates, fees, and settings.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues with FIS and vendors.
• Coordinate upgrades, patches, and releases; maintain documentation.
• Develop and distribute Horizon 360 reports and support data requests.
• Collaborate with operations, retail banking, lending, accounting, compliance, IT, and third-party vendors.
