Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels Limited in New York seeks a full-time, on-site Hotel Communications Agent to manage guest inquiries by phone and chat, coordinate in-room dining orders, and support hotel operations with professional, courteous service.

About the role

Answers and directs phone calls, Chats, and HotSos requests, take in-room dining orders, telephone requests, and faxes in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. Achieve maximum customer satisfaction for In-Room Dining and hotel operations. Will comply with any other additional requests that may arise pertaining to Hotel Communications Agent duties.

What you will do

• Answers phone and chat inquiries in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names when possible and routing calls to proper extensions.


• Handle all guest inquiries and requests accurately. Use HotSoS, Opera, Micros, (or any other computer application) to log and track these requests.


• Describe the selection of in-room dining menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item, origin, taste and preparation methods.


• Book and confirm reservations for Ty Bar and the Garden by utilizing open table and ensure timing and scheduling is accurate based on availability.


• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system.

What you bring

• Previous experience in Communications or similar position preferred.

This role is a full time, on-site role.

Compensation:

$31.85 - $42.47 per hour
