Job summary

The laboratory at Hebron Kentucky is seeking a Laboratory Technician who will perform cord blood or tissue processing or testing, maintaining records and equipment, and learning cGMP, cGTP, and AABB Guidelines. Work schedule is 4 10-hour days including one weekend day, with hours typically 6:30am – 5pm.

Responsibilities include training in cord blood or tissue processing, aseptic technique, prioritization, and collaboration in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life or natural sciences required.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environment preferred.
• Understanding of cGMP, cGTP, and AABB Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Train on cord blood processing and basic scientific understanding of human cells.
• Use aseptic technique.
• Organize and establish priorities; work in a fast-paced team.
• Handle blood and blood products and work with LN2 freezers and storage tanks.
• Maintain accuracy in documentation and records; ensure quality specifications.
