Job summary

Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) in Colorado seeks a Senior Policy Advisor to serve as CORA subject matter expert, coordinating all CORA requests through legal analysis, document retrieval and timely responses. You will work with OIT executives, teams, the Governor’s Office, and the Attorney General’s Office to ensure full compliance with CORA and related laws.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience in legal research/analysis or public policy.
• Experience processing CORA/FOIA or similar requests.
• Ability to coordinate with executives, legislative offices and state agencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OIT's CORA subject matter expert and manage requests end-to-end.
• Collaborate with OIT executives, state legislators, and Attorney General's Office on legislation and policy.
• Prepare legislative and budget proposals, and executive-level communications for committees.
