Job summary

Olixir is seeking a Copywriter to join our agency team in the United States. The role involves researching and writing copy aligned with client strategy, collaborating with Art Directors and Editorial, and delivering original, market-ready content across brands.

Minimum 1+ year experience in marketing/advertising is preferred. Candidates must show a strong portfolio and solid writing ability. In-office attendance is required as per Omnicom policy, with flexibility evolving over time.

  • Understands and implements agency/client review and routing systems; revises agency copy, identifies problems or inconsistencies, and solves problems by reviewing with supervisor/ account services.
  • Logically organizes materials from a range of sources to create a compelling narrative/story flow.

Agency: Olixir Job Function: Creative Job Subfunction: Copywriting Job Description: The Copywriter (CW) works collaboratively with the copy team on brands and is responsible for researching, creating, and writing copy that reflects the client’s strategy. The CW will support the generation of unique and innovative materials for brand(s)/client(s) and develops text from draft stage through final copy. Work can include revising/writing manuscripts, referencing, annotations and client medical, legal, or regulatory submissions. They will collaborate with Art Directors and Editorial as needed to ensure content is displayed correctly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Copywriting and Creative Execution Writes in a clear and concise manner while maintaining quality control, proper grammar, agency process, client referencing, and legal requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborates and communicates with team members in a productive manner to ensure goals are met and attains/maintains creative vision outlined for the agency.
  • Strategic Thinking Demonstrates knowledge of marketing plans including objectives, strategies, and how success will be measured.
  • Administration Maintains timely, detail-oriented, and accurate approaches to administrative duties.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with Art Directors to support creative approaches to communicate brand personalities and messages for both the overall campaign and individual materials.
  • Proactively approaches supervisors with new ideas and suggestions for personal career growth and team dynamics.
  • Understands the creative brief and the role it plays in creative evolution, taking into consideration client feedback.
  • Understands marketing plans, including objectives, strategies, and how success will be measured.
  • Begins to contribute innovative ideas appropriate to the clients marketing, strategy, and audience needs.
  • Demonstrates detail-oriented and organized approach to daily responsibilities.
  • Completes timesheets, expenses, and all other administrative duties accurately and on timely basis.

  • Work with clinical data and health economics data $60,000-$80,000 Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
