A leading company in healthcare innovation is seeking a Copywriter to develop compelling content across various formats. The position requires expertise in translating complex healthcare concepts into engaging narratives while collaborating closely with clinical leadership and marketing teams. This is a full-time remote role with a strong preference for candidates in specific U.S. time zones.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Copywriter will support branding and growth initiatives across the acute care and post-acute care spectrum. From technical and clinical publications such as case studies and white papers to marketing-driven digital brand advertising and social media posts. An ability to move easily between short- and long-form copywriting, is an expert at distilling complex healthcare concepts with authority and sophistication and can inhabit and extend our brand voice across content types and platforms. A studied writer who can work independently but also enjoys close collaboration with team members, and who demonstrates executive presence when working closely with clinical leadership and key stakeholders. This role reports to the Creative Director and lives within the Brand and Marketing team.
THE DETAILS: This is a full-time, remote position. While open to candidates across the U.S., there is a strong preference for those located in the Pacific Time Zone, followed by Mountain, Central, and Eastern Time Zones.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborates across all levels of leadership, sales, marketing, and clinical specialty leaders to articulate Sound’s value proposition and develop best-in-class, differentiated content.
• Is skilled at pulling Sound’s brand voice through all content and upholding Sound’s brand guidelines.
• Interviews key stakeholders and translates complex topics into inspiring, concise, and relatable content across case studies, white papers, press releases, blog and social media posts, and the like.
• Understands our target personas and what drives decision-making across specialties and programs.
• Incorporates key messaging and positioning as appropriate throughout all written material
• Ensures accurate and consistent use of editorial guidelines and other quality standards for all marketing content.
• Is curious about and regularly researches our industry, buyers, and competitors to understand key pain points and reflect that understanding in how we position ourselves.
• Write short and long form copy to include social posts, press releases, case studies, white papers, bylined articles, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience in journalism, communications, advertising, marketing, or relevant field
• 4-5 years of copywriting experience, preferably in healthcare
Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience and geographical location.
