Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate a clear understanding of brand, campaign, and marketing objectives to devise effective strategies.
2. Produce, present, and oversee copy deliverables, including presentation decks, mission statements, social media posts, and website content.
3. Develop copy strategies and plans across various channels aligned with key audiences.
4. Collaborate with teams to create best-in-class solutions that enhance user experience.
5. Stay informed of copywriting best practices and trends, contributing to the local copywriting community.
6. Contribute to the establishment of experience design standards and methodologies within the organization.

Skills

1. BA/BFA in English, Writing, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
2. 6 or more years of experience as a copywriter in an agency environment.
3. Mastery of both Chicago Manual and AP styles.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
5. Keen time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in writing and presentation software, including Microsoft Office.
7. Experience using Figma visual design platform as a copywriter.
8. Familiarity with project management platforms such as Jira, Basecamp, Monday, or Asana.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience participating in workshops and stakeholder interviews.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
3. Excellent listening skills with a passion for copywriting and content creation.
