Job Description

Broad Function and Purpose of Position:

Execute sales strategies, marketing plans, and programs to meet sales and profitability objectives. Develop new accounts to support business growth and manage assigned accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Sales Territory: NYC, NJ, PA, WVA

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales plans aligned with target markets and business unit objectives.
  2. Implement strategies to grow sales and market share in the territory.
  3. Deliver VIC programs and promotions to increase sales and brand awareness.
  4. Conduct market and customer surveys and report results.
  5. Develop contacts and relationships with existing and potential accounts.
  6. Represent Sika to all primary functions within the customer’s organization.
  7. Assist Technical Service with selected field trials and customer conversions.
  8. Collaborate with support teams to address customer needs.
  9. Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and training seminars.
  10. Achieve sales targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  11. Prepare and submit sales and business reports.
  12. Utilize core competencies such as problem-solving, elastic bonding, and consultative selling.
  13. Maintain an accurate and current CRM customer database in Salesforce.com.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years sales experience with a successful track record, creativity, and innovation.
  • Experience in Automotive Aftermarket or Flat Glass sales with existing contacts preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Technical sales skills with strong analytical abilities.
