Job summary

Oakmont of Novato is seeking a friendly Server to join our premier senior living team. Full-time or part-time roles available with a pay range of $19–$20 per hour.

You’ll help residents enjoy meals that feel like home, delivering warmth, dignity, and care in every interaction within a five-star hospitality culture. As a Server, you set the tone at mealtimes, take orders, set and clear tables, and work closely with teammates to ensure a polished, welcoming dining experience.

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience is preferred, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Serving residents, family members, and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and dignity.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and entering them into the POS system.
• Setting, clearing, and resetting tables with care and attention to detail.
• Following proper dining service etiquette to ensure a polished, welcoming experience.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized dining environment.
• Supporting teammates and collaborating across departments to deliver excellent service.

Your Role & Impact

As a Server, you are an ambassador of hospitality—setting the tone for each meal and helping residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home.

Your Responsibilities Include
