Job summary

Oakmont of Novato, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Server to deliver warm, respectful dining experiences to residents, families, and visitors. You will take orders, serve meals with care, and help create moments of comfort and joy in daily life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A genuine desire to work with seniors and make a difference in their day.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening including TB test.
• Compliance with vaccination screening/testing and PPE requirements per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serving residents, family members and visitors with professionalism, warmth and dignity.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and entering them into the POS system.
• Setting, clearing and resetting tables with care and attention to detail.
• Following proper dining service etiquette to ensure a polished, welcoming experience.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organized dining environment.
• Supporting teammates and collaborating across departments to deliver excellent service.
