Job summary

Courtyard Rocky Mount is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain our hotel property and guest experience. You will handle routine maintenance tasks across painting, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems to keep facilities running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests promptly, servicing cooling towers, boilers, and pool areas, and coordinating with team members to ensure quality service for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities to maintain the hotel property.
• Replace air conditioner filters to ensure proper functioning of the HVAC system.
• Tend to air conditioners, cooling towers, and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service by ensuring that all maintenance requests are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Tend to the pool area, including chemical balancing and cleaning, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Requirements
