Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Full-Time Regional Delivery Driver to transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, customer service, and efficient material handling in a route-based setting.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of commercial driving experience, including 1 year of flatbed work.

Qualifikationen

• Must have valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience acceptable).
• 1 year of flatbed experience.
• Willing to strap flatbed loads.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions.

Aufgaben

• Deliver material in “route truck/multi-drop” fashion to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle in varying conditions including heavy traffic, bad weather, or tight loading docks.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations including logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other required by law.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and all Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content; direct customers when needed.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
• Immediately report any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay starts at $28.00 per hour

$8,000.00 Bonus

Shift: Full-Time, Monday through Friday weekends home

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our customers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. The Ideal candidate will provide customer responsiveness and efficient material handling and delivery activities.This is a hands-on regional delivery driving position.

• Deliver material in “route truck/multi-drop” fashion to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading dock areas
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations including driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other records required by law
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle
• Able to answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content. If unable to answer specific questions, direct customer to appropriate contact
• Perform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
• Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
• 1 year of flatbed experience
• Willing to strap flatbed loads
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions
