Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to transport and deliver building materials to dealers, distribution centers, and job sites.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, load and unload materials, and ensure accurate loads with strict safety standards. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 2 years of truck driving experience, the ability to tarp and strap loads, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience required (DD214 acceptable).
• Willing to tarp using Conestoga XP Roll Tarps Systems and strap loads.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to dealers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer.

JOB DETAILS

Pay: $24.00 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. This is a hands-on delivery driving position some Weekends may be required based on business needs.

• Perform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
• Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett
• Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods
• Other duties as assigned
