The Copy Center Operator is responsible for operating high-volume copiers, printers, and finishing equipment to produce printed materials according to customer specifications. The role includes handling printing requests, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of printed materials. This position requires attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills.

Essential Functions

• Operate digital copiers, printers, and finishing equipment such as binders, folders, and laminators.
• Review job orders and ensure accuracy of print specifications (e.g., size, color, paper type, quantity).
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs with service technicians when needed.
• Monitor inventory of paper, toner, and other supplies and order materials as necessary.
• Handle walk‑in and internal requests, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and deadlines.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards and client expectations.
• Package and distribute completed print jobs to appropriate recipients or departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality guidelines.

Work Environment

• This job operates in a professional office, print production environment and warehouse.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking.
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Weather in the warehouse can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
• May involve repetitive tasks and moderate physical activity.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

• Full‑time; Monday – Friday; 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
