Red Metals is building its first copper processing and refining facility in Charleston, South Carolina. This Plant Operator role is on the plant floor, owning daily operations and driving improvements as we scale, with a bias for action and a readiness to take on varied tasks.

You will fix issues, partner with engineering on startups, and help develop the team while establishing the plant’s systems and standards. We value speed, grit, ownership, and craft over formal titles.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, metals, the trades, the military, or a startup is useful.
• Non-negotiables: Bias for Action, Grit, Ownership, Signal, Craft.

Responsabilités

• Keep the plant running safely and efficiently, every day.
• Own production, from material coming in the door to finished product going out.
• Find what’s broken or slow and fix it, whether it's equipment, a process, or a practice.
• Work side by side with engineering on startup, troubleshooting, and improvements.
• Build the systems, habits, and standards the plant runs on.
• Help hire and develop the people who will run the plant with you as we scale.
