Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Lexington, VA is seeking a Copper Pipe Processing Operator to handle copper bending, cutting and punching machines, read prints, and produce quality fittings. You will master T-drill operation, braze as required, and follow a printed schedule to support line readiness.

Shift is 2nd, 3PM–11PM with a $1.00/hour differential, starting at $24.23/hour, rising to $26.23 after nine months.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in pipe processing or similar manufacturing role (copper piping preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for cutting and bending.
• Knowledge of HVAC or refrigeration piping systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setup copper bending, cutting and punching machines to meet print requirements.
• Setup T-drill machine to meet print requirements.
• Measure finished copper to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Trouble shoot all machinery to help diagnose any errors.
• Work from a provided schedule to ensure proper delivery to lines.
• Complete all required preventive maintenance tasks on all machines.
