Modine Manufacturing Company in Lexington, VA is seeking an experienced operator to complete copper pipe processing, including setting up bending, cutting and punching machinery, and inspecting finished copper to meet print requirements.

You will read blueprints, operate T-drill machines, and troubleshoot equipment while adhering to safety standards. This role is on 2nd shift with a starting rate and a clear pay progression.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in pipe processing or similar manufacturing role (copper piping preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled with hand/tools for cutting and bending.
• Knowledge of HVAC or refrigeration piping is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• High attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Setup copper bending, cutting and punching machines to meet print requirements.
• Setup T-drill machine to meet print requirements.
• Measure finished copper to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Trouble shoot all machinery to help diagnose errors.
• Work from a provided schedule to ensure proper delivery to lines.
• Complete all required preventive maintenance tasks on all machines.
